FOLLOW THE TIGERS: On 17th April we once again visited the Tiger Temple tigers that have been relocated to the DNP facilities in Ratchaburi. We donated more carnivore supplement and also rope to be wrapped around the trees in the two new enclosures that are being funded by WildHeart Foundation.
These two enclosures are almost complete and each have a pond, trees and platform in place and are only waiting for the electricals to be fitted before the tigers can begin using them.
Tiger living quarters in the other facility have also seen a few upgrades with larger baths put in place and also sprinklers to keep them cool during the hotter months.
For the most part, the remaining tigers are doing well though a few are due for surgery in order to try and alleviate the ongoing breathing problems. Excitingly, a new laser surgery process is going to be implemented for this.
