Today, two members of For Tigers headed out to the Tourism and Animal Welfare symposium held at South Bank University. There were many interesting talks from Donald Broom, Daniel Turner, Claire Jenkinson, Stuart Patterson,Tom Moorhouse, Glen Cousquer and Jan Schmidt-Burbach. After the talks we were able to have some constructive chats with Jan Schmidt-Burbach and Tom Moorhouse on the welfare of captive tigers in tourism and the next steps to take in this area.
